As part of our Business Essential Skills Training Series, Kishwaukee College is hosting a complimentary two-hour workshop at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau on March 5th from 9am-11am exclusively for DeKalb Chamber member businesses. This interactive workshop provides participants with practical tools and insights to foster stronger collaboration, improve communication, and promote inclusivity within their teams. Key learning objectives include:

 - Define and identify workplace interactions - Gain a deeper understanding of the social, communication and power dynamics that influence team interactions and organizational structures. 

- Describe unconscious bias - Learn how unconscious biases impact workplace relationships and team cohesion while exploring practical strategies to mitigate these biases and foster fairness. 

- Strengthen workplace culture - Develop actionable strategies to create a more inclusive, equitable and engaging workplace culture, empowering teams to thrive together.
