Once again your DeKalb Chamber is partnering with Northern Illinois University to host Campus Meets Community to help your business/organization get on NIU's Campus to meet students, faculty, and staff! 

We’re excited to invite you to participate in this year’s NIU Campus Meets Community event in partnership with the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, happening on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 11AM – 2PM, on the NIU campus! 

Early bird discounted registration is open now till June 27, 2025 at $40 per booth. After June 27, 2025, registration will be $65. 

This beloved campus and community engagement event is a fantastic opportunity for DeKalb area restaurants, retail businesses, service providers, and nonprofits to connect with NIU students, faculty, and staff in a lively, block party-style setting. 

Campus Meets Community runs alongside NIU’s Student Involvement Fair and Food Truck Wednesdays, ensuring a vibrant and well-attended atmosphere. Each registered vendor will receive 1 6ft table, 2 chairs, and 1 parking pass for just $40, making participation easy and fun.

Any food vendors will need to follow Health Department rules and regulations for selling and sampling, along with providing food permits to NIU.
