Celebrate the start of the holiday season in Downtown DeKalb with Lights on Lincoln and Santa Comes to Town! Enjoy holiday lights that line the streets and wave to Santa as he rides through Downtown DeKalb. Santa’s route will start at 6PM. Enjoy a Christmas tree lighting with hot chocolate in Van Buer Plaza once Santa stops at the Egyptian Theatre. Santa will be available for visits in his house in Van Buer Plaza after the Christmas tree lighting.

The City of DeKalb Public Transit will run special bus routes to Lights on Lincoln. Bus routes run throughout the event to ensure all families get to visit with Santa after he arrives at his house in Van Buer Plaza. Click Here to view the bus schedule.
