Description
Duo Dahlia combines the timeless instruments of flute and harp to bring audiences a rich aural soundscape of beautiful and unique timbres. Join us in the library’s main lobby as they perform music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th century eras, and promote works by living composers.
Based in the Chicagoland area, Duo Dahlia has performed in various chamber recitals and competitions, including performances affiliated with Epiphany Center for the Arts, Northern Illinois University and Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra. Each performance brings together the diverse solo careers of the members with historically informed performance practices.
