In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists is launching Compassion In Action: Socktember 250, a community drive collecting new socks for local shelters serving families, children, adults, and individuals in need.

From September 1 to 18, community members are invited to donate new socks (all sizes) at any Northern Rehab location in DeKalb, Genoa and Rochelle. Donations will be distributed to Safe Passage and Hope Haven in DeKalb, and the Rochelle Rescue Mission.

The campaign encourages the community to help meet a goal of collecting 250 pairs of socks. New socks in all sizes, from infants and children to adults, will be accepted. Donation may be dropped off at any Northern Rehab location: 3266 Sycamore Road in DeKalb, 540 E. Main Street in Genoa, and 1211 Currency Court in Rochelle.
