Easter Vigil Service

Description

The Saturday Easter Vigil service on April 19th, begins at 7:00 PM with the Lighting of the Paschal Candle from the Paschal Fire. This candle represents the light of Christ and parishioners light their individual candles from it. The service continues with lessons from the Old Testament, which remind us how God saved his people in ages past. We end with a Renewal of our Baptismal Vows. Holy Communion is not shared at this service.
