Description

In this workshop, participants will tackle big financial tasks by setting goals that are S.M.A.R.T. – and will learn to monitor their progress and adjust accordingly. Traditional and high-yield savings accounts, CDs and other saving mechanisms will be addressed.

 

Financial Fitness is a series of free, in-person, interactive workshops to help people improve their financial wellbeing. The workshops will address topics related to saving & spending, credit & debt, and more. Topics have been chosen based on input from the local community; the emphasis and focus will be modified to meet the specific needs of attendees.

 

Children are welcome at these sessions; snacks will be provided.

 

This series of workshops is supported financially by the Alfred Bersted Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee, sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County and the DeKalb Public Library, and presented by experts from Old National Bank.

 

No registration is required. These workshops are intended for adults.
