Maundy Thursday Service

Description

On Thursday, April 17th, we celebrate the first service of “The Triduum”, the three ritual services of Holy Week preceeding Easter. The Maundy Thursday service includes Holy Communion, and the ceremonial foot washing remembering the Last Supper is performed. A key message of this service is the commandment to love one another as Jesus loved us. All depart in silence at the end of the service with the stripping of the altar and the reading of Psalm 22
