Description

Learning to stop bleeding is a lifesaving skill. The number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. With three quick actions, you can be trained and empowered to save a life. 

This formal presentation is followed by hands-on practice of applying direct pressure, packing a wound, and using a tourniquet to stop bleeding. Recommended for ages 15 and up, there are graphic images and content included in the presentation. 

This program is first come, first served as space is limited. 

Presented by the DeKalb County Health Department Medical Reserve Corps as part of a National Stop the Bleed campaign.
